Delo 1000 Marine – Delivering Trust every hour

DELO 1000 MARINE – DELIVERING TRUST EVERY HOUR DELO 1000 MARINE – DELIVERING TRUST EVERY HOUR

The challenges for medium-speed trunk piston diesel engines in the current marine and stationary power markets are high. There is a need for a diesel engine oil that can ensure high levels of engine cleanliness with low levels of wear and tear. In short, one that can help the engine deliver trust in every hour of operation.

This is where Delo 1000 Marine can make a difference. This lower alkaline reserve trunk piston engine oil is planned for medium-speed trunk piston engines burning distillate fuels that have a sulfur content of up to 1.5% in marine or stationary service.

With Delo 1000 Marine, you can maintain your engine’s power output. The detergent/dispersant additive system provides control of high-temperature deposits in engine parts, namely the undercrown of the piston and the piston ring belt section.

Delo 1000 Marine has the potential to prolong oil life. Its Base Number (BN) level and superior alkalinity retention characteristics maintain sufficient BN to ensure corrosive acids formed by the combustion of fuel sulfur are effectively neutralised, thereby minimising liner wear.

Another major benefit of using Delo 1000 Marine is its efficient purifying system performance. This marine & stationary diesel engine oil has superb water separation characteristics that enable water to be centrifuged out with almost no loss of additive.

This marine and stationary diesel engine oil can be used in medium-speed trunk piston engines burning distillate fuels in marine main and auxiliary powerplant service and medium-speed trunk piston engines burning distillate fuels in stationary powerplant service.

Delo 1000 Marine is suitable for marine reduction gearboxes where engine oils of their type and viscosity are recommended. However, it should not be mixed with EP type gear oils which are sometimes used in the same application. Delo 1000 Marine also works for stern tube systems where engine oils of its type and viscosity grade are recommended. It should not be blended with compounded type oils which are sometimes used in the same application.
